About Us


The Bunker Fitness was started to help people not just reach their fitness goals but to maximize their potential! This journey of losing weight, building muscle, or just improving over all fitness the workouts are just one piece of the puzzle. Years of working in the trenches training people just like yourself we learned that we can not just coach you on the perfect squat… we have to coach you on all the different moving parts of getting results, changing behaviors, and keeping those results! If you are here reading this it is because something triggered you to want to take action and take control of your health, your appearance, and your overall fitness. That is step number one on your journey and as your potential coach, I want to ensure that you get a service that is second to none!


That's why we have created our Dynamic Training System  (D.T.S.) to coach you in the gym with amazing individualized workout and nutrition programs, but also in mindset and habit coaching. In the gym, everything is set and reps to make progress… if you want to squat 500lbs we don't start your first workout by just loading the bar up, yelling “YOU CAN DO IT” and hoping for the best. It is about reps building up technique and strength over time with a structured plan… a road map to your goal. Consistency, over time, with a clear plan to reach a given goal that's what my vision is for you as my future client. I want to guide you through and build up all the skills you need to reach lifelong goals that will maximize your potential both in the gym and out.

Coach John Fabi Johnatan Fabi is a Personal Trainer, Nationaly Qualified bodybuilder and Bodybuilding Coach on a mission to empower people to pave the way to a happier, healthier lifestyle for years to come. As the proud owner of Fabi Elite Fitness, he also strives to help his clients transform their bodies and ultimately undergo a total life transformation. Over the course of a decade, he has gained extensive experience in the fitness space. Within that time, he’s had the opportunity to work at LA Fitness, Club Fitness, and Powerhouse Gym. He also won various bodybuilding competitions and earned multiple certifications. When he isn’t coaching his clients, he loves traveling, building motorcycles, being in the great outdoors with Major (his pitbull), and spending quality time with his loved ones.

Coach Alissa is not only focused on helping you reach your goals in the gym, but also outside
the gym as well. With her main focus based on helping you build confidence, you will leave your
sessions with not only more knowledge about your program, but you will leave feeling more
confident in your abilities at the gym. She aims to give her clients the confidence to challenge
themselves, push their limits, and reach goals that they never thought possible. She specializes
in glutes based workouts, but has an array of knowledge for all parts of the body. Alissa is also
bilingual, as her previous job position was a Spanish teacher, so teaching is just naturally in her
blood. FUN FACT: she also has a podcast and clothing brand that focus on confidence building
in ALL aspects of life.

I have done sports for most of my life, but nothing I took too seriously. What got me into the gym was honestly bullying. I was made fun of for most of my life for being small, by boyfriends, "friends". I was tired of feeling insecure. My fitness journey started my junior year of high school with home workouts using a kettle bell and various resistance bands.

During this time I was also competing in cheerleading for fall and winter and also was on the golf team in Spring. I had a full book. By my senior year of high school I was in the gym with a consistent training schedule of 5 days a week. My mom would bring me to and from the gym because I could not yet even drive. (Props to my mom!!)

My senior year of high school I knew I could not balance school sports and the gym. I had to sit with myself and figure out what I truly loved and what I was willing to give up. I quit cheerleading that year and never looked back. That year I saw the most progress in my physique! As soon as I graduated high school I got my personal training certification. I knew I wanted to help others build their dream physique and feel more confident in their own skin! I wanted to share my passion with others.

Come the Summer after my first year at the University of Connecticut, I landed my first personal training job at the Edge Fitness Clubs. During Summer 2021 I also decided to continue my education beyond college and got certified in sports nutrition through ISSA. I am still currently at the University of Connecticut pursuing my degree in Exercise Science while changing lives every. single. day. My clients are the reason I do what I do and why I love what I do.
